Deck Resurfacing

If you have enjoyed a wood deck for a few years, you may notice that it no longer looks the same as when it was first installed. Even with continual maintenance and care, wood decks reach a point where they need to be resurfaced.

If you would like to give your deck a refresh without having to build an entirely new deck system, Deck and Fence provide complete deck resurfacing services to all of its clients.

Our resurfacing services can upgrade your deck to composite boards, or replace your wood deck with the same type of wood that you used in the past.

Our Resurfacing Services Include:

• Complete inspection of the deck system. We will check the base of your deck for structural integrity and make sure that it is up to current building codes. If the deck needs small repairs or changes to bring it up to code, we will complete this task so that the base can be used for the new surface.

• We will make sure that building codes are checked for any changes that may need to be implemented for the new deck surface area, and we will get the necessary permits to build the deck.

• We will remove the old decking material and dispose of it properly. Deck and Fence does not like to have used construction material staying on the site any longer than necessary, so we will remove the material that day to keep the work area safe and clean.

• We will install the new deck and the railings using the materials you chose during our initial consultation. The deck will be checked for compliance to all building codes. We will add any additional features you may have requested at that time.

• We will clean the construction area again. We believe that it is very important to leave our work area in perfect condition. This is just another way we provide superior customer service to all of our clients.

Benefits Of Deck Resurfacing

Deck resurfacing gives our clients the following benefits:

• The ability to refresh their current deck system without having to invest into an entirely new deck.

• The ability to change the materials used for the deck surface from wood to composite if they desire. This can increase the new surface's longevity and decrease the required yearly maintenance.

• Make changes to their deck system that bring them in compliance with current building codes. This is very important, especially if you are considering selling your home in the near future.

• Ability to upgrade or change their railing systems. You can change the look of your deck just by changing your railings.

• Extends the life of their current deck base, which is cost-effective and environmentally friendly.
